I received an ecopy for a review.

Even though I did not read the first three books in the series, I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. The relationships among the main characters are complex and add to the suspense in the story. I suspect there is still a small- town mentality in existence where there are limited education and few job opportunities and where money is at the root of violence.
